◆The drying eficiency of the drum dryer can be changed by adjusting the concentration of the feed material, the thickness of the material film, the temperature of the medium, and the rotation speed of the drum. Therefore, the machine is suitable for drying various materials with different output requirements.

◆The drying period of the material generally takes 10 ~ 15 seconds. The drying speed is really fast.

◆Since the material film on the wall of the cylinder is very thin. The thickness is generally between 0.3mm and I. 5mm. The evaporation rate on the surface of the material film can stay between 10kg.H2O/m2.h and 50kg.H2O/m2.h.

◆This equipment can be designed with the single drum structure or the double drum structure according to the requirements. The inner barrel structure or the jacket structure can be used for heating. The material that the machine is made of can be stainless steel, cast steel, carbon steel with chrome plating, etc.

◆The heat source can be steam or thermal oil.

◆The material is distributed diferently depending on its characteristics. The material can be scrapped upward or downwards. There are flexible scrapers and rigid scrapers. The adjustment method can be manual or pneumatic.

Principle

◆Drum dryer is a continuous drying equipment with internal heat conduction. The material film with a certain thickness adheres to the rotating drum through the lower, middle or upper gap for the material. Once the outer wall of the drum is heated, the material film will be heated as well, so that the moisture contained in the material film will evaporate and dehumidify Quickly, before it is discharged through the induced draft fan. The dried material will be shoveled off the drum by the scraper, and then the dried material will be conveyed and discharged through the screw conveyor.

 

Applications
