Instruction:
In Salt Refineries, drying is one of the high energy consuming step. For drying of salt, hot air generated by coal or fossil fuel fired boiler with a heat exchanger is used. The air is heated from ambient to the temperature of around 160 Deg C. This hot air is forced in to a fluidized bed dryer where salt around 4 – 5% moisture is dried to a moisture of 0.2%
The residual moisture of the crystal sea-salt after its separation from the solution is usually from2.5-4.5%.At this moisture the product is unsuitable for grinding and therefore they should be dried up to a final moisture of 0.2-0.25%

Principle:
Raw material is fed into the machine from the inlet and moves forward continuously along with the level of fluid bed under the action of vibration. The hot air passes through fluid bed and carries out heat exchange with damp raw material. Then the damp air is exhausted out through cyclone separator and dry raw material is discharged through discharge outlet..
